The Dark Secret Behind Charles Dickens' Christmas Tales with Andrew Halls
Просмотров 736 месяцев назад

Such was the power of Dickens' grip on the popular imagination, the Christmas season almost seemed his own creation. Dickens inspired millions with visions of a glowing, holly-strewn celebration, rich in sentiment and good cheer, underpinned by recurrent themes of memory, loss and redemption. These ...

I am surprisingly shocked and impressed. This is seriously the most beautiful, well formulated video ever. I can’t believe how magical it felt at 1:20. That part truly made me shed a tear. Multiple teara, actually. And especially at 42:29 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh, and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the videos I have watched. The piece lf bacon spinning in the dishwasher was incredible and mind-blowing. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of RUclips history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , it absolutely moved my soul , and I don’t think I can ever be the same. This essay balanced my life forever. I have stopped thinking about horrible things in our lifetime, and I can’t thank you enough. Thanks.

I did this tournament just last month. Placed 23rd as a 1st and 3rd speaker for an all 7th grade 2 person team. Most rewarding experience of my life. The kids did well, and are a model to strive for in next years tournament.

dawg the judges r biased bro the opposition won by a mile
We still are so proud of you Tristan ❤ Dom
That final rebuttal from the last student was one of the most powerful clap backs I've ever heard
Holy sh**! Who do I need to sell my soul to to be that skilled and talented. She just pulled off a magic trick on that stage. Actually, who do I need to sell my soul to to see her on all the stages forever. She’s incredible!
As a debater who watched this video in my debate class, I can affirm that all of my peers and I agreed on the FACT that the Opposition was far superior than the Proposition. The proposition team used tricks, as in the change of definition, in order to win. It is extremely clear that the judges must have been biased.
Is interrupting allowed?

ruby i love you you are the best actor ever
I love your performance. And I am using it for a school competition. If I win then it will be your win to 'cause I got this monologue from your video.
03:09 "Excuse me" seems to be in order but I guess that would be too many seconds lost "judging" from the pace of speech. Interestingly these debates are a stark contrast to the style in Caribbean /British patterned education system. The Caribbean format is more formal yet more relaxed (yeah, Irie) and particularly less direct argumentation between participants. This format appears more demanding in terms of impromtu arguments but there is less focus on oratorical skills/charisma etc in delivery. ruclips.net/video/1bzUh4SPZKg/видео.html

My school is gonna do this before the school year ends and my crippling anxiety said “no <3”
How was this?
1 i highly doubt any body gonna answer this but What is the affirmative side’s claim? 2 What reasons do they have to support their claim? 3 What evidence do they have to support their reasons? 4 What is the negative side’s claim? 5 What reasons do they have to support their claim? 6 What evidence do they have to support their reasons? 7 Discuss one side’s counterclaim. 8 How does the debate end? please let me know the answers
So much bias. You can tell there was more Asians in the Oppositon team, which is why the Judges picked the more White-American team. Just so racist
we are PROUD to propose
Insane Talent!!!!!
7:54 No thank you
This is quite interesting
This is the greatest interpretation I have ever seen.

4:00 York cannot speak, unless he wear a crown. A crown for York! and, lords, bow low to him: Hold you his hands, whilst I do set it on. [Putting a paper crown on his head] Ay, marry, sir, now looks he like a king! Ay, this is he that took King Henry's chair, And this is he was his adopted heir. But how is it that great Plantagenet Is crown'd so soon, and broke his solemn oath? As I bethink me, you should not be king Till our King Henry had shook hands with death. And will you pale your head in Henry's glory, And rob his temples of the diadem, Now in his life, against your holy oath? O, 'tis a fault too too unpardonable! Off with the crown, and with the crown his head; And, whilst we breathe, take time to do him dead.
